Week 2!

Week 2 of the One Room Challenge was a little less eventful, but I promise this is the last week for that. I did get some things done, but it was all of the behind-the-scenes sort of things like ordering all of my supplies & mapping out what projects to get done first.

If this mood board looks familiar, it's because I already shared a veryyyy similar one last spring, or just 2 blog posts ago. I tweaked a couple things, but my plan hasn’t changed much. I guess when you know what you want, why mess with it! I found a different desk at TJ Maxx that fit the space a little better and I am excited for how this wood tone will look in the space. I also already have a similar wood nightstand that I had nowhere to put that will fit perfectly right next to it.

One thing I did get done this week is measuring and taping off for the bookcase & shelving.

Yes, I know those tape lines are not straight, but this helps me visualize the spacing & now I have a much better idea for how this storage area will lay out.

This week had me ordering all of the things for all of the projects I have for this room. I think the piece I am most excited for is my rug! I love the combination of pastel & jewel tone colors and I think this rug will be the perfect soft pink with these deep turquoise walls.

Here is a breakdown of what I plan to tackle in the next 6 weeks…

*Sand and re-finish bookcase

*Build & install floating shelves

*Make & install window shades

*Put together desk

*put together & hang gallery wall

*Organize & Decorate!

I clearly have my work cut out for me, but I am excited. So now I wait for all the things to get here & get to work!
